On April 7th World Health Day will be celebrated to commemorate the anniversary of the World Health Organization founding in 1948. Each year they choose a theme, that highlights a priority area of ​​concern to WHO.

The theme of this year 2014 are vector-borne diseases. They are more common in tropical areas and places with problems of access to safe water and sanitation. The most deadly disease in this group is malaria, but there are anothers widespread such as dengue.

BMC- Barcelona Moda Centre wants to join this event and take the time to remember, along with its associated brands, the importance of healthy living.To celebrate the World Health Day, BMC has prepared a set of activities related to this issue and sports.

Sanitas, will participate in this meeting by presenting a unique and innovative concept based on a set of programs for prevention and care, fully customized, approaching to BUBBLE | PURE AIR, the first air purification system that reduces up to 99.95% the concentration of particulate matter and gaseous pollutants at comfort levels. Led by Milenium Iradier Medical Center, visitors will have the opportunity to try from first hand this new technique.

El 7 de abril se celebra el Día Mundial de la Salud para conmemorar el aniversario de la fundación de la Organización Mundial de la Salud en 1948. Cada año se elige para esta fecha un tema que pone de relieve una esfera de interés prioritario para la OMS.

El tema de este año 2014 son las enfermedades transmitidas por vectores. Son más frecuentes en zonas tropicales y lugares con problemas de acceso al agua potable y al saneamiento. La enfermedad más mortífera de este grupo es el paludismo. Pero hay otras muy extendidas como es el caso del dengue.

BMC-Barcelona Moda Centre quiere sumarse a esta efeméride y aprovechar la jornada para recordar, junto con sus marcas asociadas, la importancia de llevar una vida saludable.  Para celebrar este Día Mundial de la Salud, BMC ha preparado un conjunto de actividades relacionadas con esta cuestión y el deporte principalmente.
