The invited surgeons from Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Brazil, Kenya, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Germany produced a consensus document that reached a conclusion on the need to follow already proven protocols and meet established standards in terms of safety and legality. The use of autologous stem cell therapies, as well as growth factors, have great potential in the field of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. However, it was broadly agreed at this Summit that these cells should remain unmodified so as to guarantee the safety and legality of such techniques, In the field of reconstructive surgery procedures, the pure air bubble was presented as an option for performing operations in any location while maintaining the highest possible guarantees.
